Go to move it right after I get on site, no power steering or brakes.

The power steering in my Subaru becomes basically nonexistent while it’s cold and at idle. Quite fun in parking lots when I’m crammed between brodozers with titanic trailer hitches...

It’s 70 out today, so sadly that is not the issue. 1200lbs of engine is not easy to steer.

My mother’s Dakota had a thing for terminating its power steering without warning. It was, however, a bit over-zealous about brakes.

People that leave their hitch in are a huge pet peeve of mine. I have an equalizer setup for towing my travel trailer that immediately comes off the back of the truck after unhooking the camper. I can pretty much guarantee that if you hit the hitch as opposed to my bumper you are going to have a way worse time.

There was one time where it was impossible for me to leave a parking lot because some jerks in brodozers managed to box me in with their tow hitches.

Kinja'd!!!

They had something like this to compensate for their lift kit heights so they could actually do real work with their trucks instead of having them as little status toys, but... to each their own, I guess. At least they left as quickly as they came.

You seem to attract unreliable examples of stereotypically reliable vehicles

I automatically deduct 100 IQ points whenever I see an, “I’d rather be Cummin that Stokin” sticker. Most of those guys are in negative IQ territory then.

It doesn’t take much to need to run a drop hitch anymore. My ‘13 F250 on 35's with no lift still runs a 2" drop to tow our camper. The guys that have the camper/snow plow prep package have to run more since their coils are significantly stiffer.

At least people in modern pickup trucks know how to park and care about keeping their vehicle free of scratches. The brodozers just barely “park” and could care less.

No, it left fluid all over the ground.

The Duramax isn’t really reliable. This is the emissions heavy, early 6.7 Cummins, and it’s not really reliable either. The Tacoma just shat it’s alternator, so that just kind of happens.

I haven’t got stuck in grass. I got stuck in a sand pit.

it was a grassy sandpit, IF i remember the pictures..... at least you are fortunate enough to break down in safe places.......

There was grass in the area, but not where I buried the axle. The Dodge always breaks in a parking lot, the Duramax always strands me with trailer in tow on the interstate.
